You are invited to join me on a retreat I am leading this April 26–28 at the Catholic Conference Center in Hickory, NC. The theme is “How to Live a Devout Life (In a Crazy World).” I will be drawing from themes in my book, The Devout Life: A Modern Guide to Practical Holiness with St. Francis de Sales (Sophia Institute Press).

The Devout Life

One of the principle themes of St. Francis’ Introduction to the Devout Life is that devotion is for everyone. On this retreat we will delve into how to make this a practical reality in our modern world. Conferences will focus on the meaning of devotion, prayer, virtue and the sacraments.

I always enjoy my time at the Catholic Conference Center, which is situated in the beautiful rolling hills of the farmland outside of Hickory, NC. I know you will, too.
